How to Measure
“I use A&J for all of my carpet needs, the price
is always right, and the service is first rate..”

Gerald Robertson
Choose your room, and measure the longest length, then the widest
width.  Including closets.  Now multiply these two measurements.

Add 20% for overage, it's always better to over estimate than to
under estimate.
Steps:
  • One flight of boxed stairs estimate at 12' x 6' 4"
  • One flight of upholstered stairs estimate at 12' x 8'

Landings:
  • Measure longest length and widest width, multiply, and add
    20% for overage.
Note: These calculations are intended to give you a basic idea of
your flooring needs.

It is always a good idea to have one of our flooring specialists come
out and measure for you, and check the condition of your floor
before you decide to purchase any flooring
